Not sure where to start.....great area, lovely setting after that it all goes horribly wrong. After living in a hotel for a week and furniture into storage with just a few days notice from Stewart Milne that our house wasn’t going to be ready in time we were looking forward to eventually getting into our new home. Moved in on the Friday and after the first use of our shower, water came pouring through the living room ceiling. Approx 3/4 of the ceiling was damaged, Stewart Milne insisted on a patch up job rather than taking the ceiling down. A few days later no hot water or heating, something to do with a valve in the water tank....guys lifted a bedroom carpet and cut the floorboards without asking us and the next thing there was water coming in through the kitchen ceiling. Shower rail in the downstairs bathroom, this time water shooting out the top of it and down the wall......yes you guessed it all over the flooring! Kitchen sink leaking, outside tap constantly drips water. That’s just a few of things we easily have a list of about 30-40 issues. Contacted customer service and have received the cheekiest email saying that defects are “expected”with new build houses and things will get sorted when they can get access! Snagging is maybe expected but NOT defects. Numerous time spent off work, very upsetting and they really don’t seem to give a hit to put it politely! Think before you hand over any cash We have now had to instruct a lawyer to deal with them which no doubt will cost us more money but they cannot keep getting away with treating people the way they do, none of our neighbours seem to have had a good experience so far.

The showhome was excellent, we loved the decor, and were suitably impressed. My wife and I were then advised what to do if interested in buying a home, the advisor being very helpful and polite. Overall a great experience so far.

The level of customer service since moving in has been appalling, we have spent 9 months chasing builders around trying to get some basic snags resolved. Lack of customer service and respect from the construction management team. Constantly told what I wanted to hear but nobody stepped up and took ownership. I have been told the head of customer services has been in meetings for 9 months.

I would like Head of customer service Craig Mackay to contact me regarding complaint with company , this is the only way of getting through as I’m getting absolutely nowhere through your central customer service department. You will get my details through central customer service and my plot is no 62 Dargavel . Failing that I will be adding my complaint to your website , people have a right to know how you look after your customers ...... 1 Year down the line ! Absolute Joke
